Richard founded Herner & Co in 1990. He previously worked at Colnaghi's and the Heim Gallery, having read English and Art History at Magdalene College, Cambridge. His articles reflect on his life in the antique art world and include reviews of events and auctions throughout the UK and Europe, and in-depth analysis of showcased paintings.
